Pharmacy Research UK and The NIHR Incubator for Pharmacy Professionals are delighted to be co-hosting an event which will bring together researchers, practitioners, educators, and partners from across the UK to celebrate the breadth and impact of pharmacy research.
The event will also mark the launch of the Pharmacy Research Hub—a new online resource that brings together pharmacy research networks from across the UK in one place, making it easier to connect, collaborate, and discover opportunities.

Celebrating those who support research is just as important as recognising those who conduct it. We are inviting submissions that showcase initiatives aimed at strengthening pharmacy research capacity, culture, and capability. Whether you have established a journal club, developed a research network, supported funding applications, enabled protected research time, or introduced other research-focused initiatives, we would like to hear about your work. This is your platform to showcase the incredible initiatives your team is leading to build pharmacy research capacity, and an opportunity to put your organisation or region on the map!

Case studies will be featured within conference materials, with some contributors invited to present a poster or short talk at the event. Selections of abstracts will represent a diverse collection of case studies across different sectors. We hope these examples will inspire yourselves and others to develop similar initiatives within organisations.

If you have supported the development of research activities among pharmacy professionals, however formally, please submit a short case study abstract using the form available here.

Please share this opportunity with colleagues who may wish to contribute a case study. The deadline for submissions is 14 August 2026 at 5:00 pm.

For any questions, please contact charlotte.e.jones@uea.ac.uk.

We look forward to celebrating all the work our colleagues are doing across the UK to develop research capacity for pharmacy professionals!
