Alongside contacting local universities who may have research groups within your area of interest, the following resources may be of use.

Health and Care Research Wales Support and Delivery Service

Health and Care Research Wales is a networked organisation, supported by Welsh Government, which brings together a wide range of partners across the NHS in Wales, local authorities, universities, research institutions, third sector and others. Their Support and Delivery Service can help you access training to get involved with research, and support to develop research ideas into grant proposals. Click here to access their site.

Research Capacity Building Collaboration Wales

For those wanting to undertake more structured training in research; the Research Capacity Building Collaboration Wales (RCBCWales) was created in 2005 to drive an increase in the research capacity and capability of nursing and allied health professional groups and to contribute toward the development of clinical academic roles.  In 2014, its scope was broadened to include pharmacists. They offer a range of schemes including ‘First into Research’, PhDs and Post-Doctoral Fellowships. Click here to access their site.
